When I was attending the Police Academy I was shocked to see how high some uniform stores marked up their items. I was also blown away by their poor customer service. I couldn't believe it!
We work too hard (and for relatively little money) to be treated poorly. My wife and I wanted to do something about it.

My wife Jaime and I spent almost a decade in the military. She, in the United States Air Force and I in the United States Army as an Infantryman. Together, we have both spent most of our lives in one uniform or another. I have had the opportunity to field and battle test all types of equipment. I have seen what performs and what is all hype. Cop's Closet promises to offer you, only products that work, period.
My military experience was one I would never trade for anything. Unfortunately, it never paid that well. The Army did provide the mission essential equipment, but there were always Tactical Gear out there that made things a bit more comfortable. Those high speed items weren't cheap either. Sometimes the PX/BX had them, and sometimes you had to go off post and take your chances.
